Game Recap
CLEVELAND 2 PITTSBURGH 1 - HOUNDS LOSE SEASON OPENER
Pittsburgh Plays Nearly Half The Game A Man Down

Despite being a man down because of the red card assessed to Ryan Caugherty in the 54th minute, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds jumped out to a 1-0 advantage when Nathan Salsi headed in a ball that was served up by "Boyzzz" Khumalo in the 67th minute. Cleveland scored 10 minutes later when Randolph Jerome drove the ball into the nets. The assist was credited to Anthony Stovall. Cleveland took the lead for good when Ian Leibbrandt pounded a ball in that had been punched out of the goal box by Pittsburgh's GK Andrew Keszler. The shot off of that ricochet provided the game-winner in the 90th minute. Cleveland captured a 2-1 victory in their home and season opener at Krenzler Stadium at Cleveland State University Saturday night. The Riverhounds start the season 0-1, while Cleveland is 1-0.
