RIVERHOUNDS 1 WESTERN MASS PIONEERS 1
Hounds Have Goal Taken Back - Settle For Draw

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds settled for a 1-1 draw at Western Mass on Thursday night, picking up their second point of the season. Joe Zewe, who played at East Allegheny High School and Penn State University scored just after the second half began. Penn Hills native and Wake Forest grad Ryan Caugherty assisted. It appeared that the Hounds has scored a second goal when Chartiers Valley and Duquesne University rookie Travis MacKenzie sent in a rebound of a Jean Robens Jerome shot, but the officials ruled MacKenzie offside and called off the goal. Jeff Deren scored the lone Western Mass goal with about 15-minutes left in the match to tie it at 1-1. That was the final result.
