Non-Profit Groups Required at Highmark Stadium for USL Season

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are looking for local non-profit groups to work in the concession stands at Highmark Stadium when the 2015 USL season commences on March 28.

We are looking for sports teams, college groups, church groups, high school boosters or other groups that already work at sporting venues.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol at our concessions.

We will need the following forms from your group:

  • A copy of your tax identification number
  • Copies of ServeSafe, RAMP or TIPS certifications
  • A copy of your general liability insurance
  • W-9 form
  • All staff must be certified

The non-profit group must sign a contract with Shallenberger Concessions LLC. Shallenberger Concessions will provide the group with the game day schedule, number of volunteers required for designated areas, uniforms, repot times, proper equipment, product to sell and a guaranteed flat rate walking in the door.

You will be paid 15% of the net sales in your designated area if your sales exceed the minimum flat rate. The NPO contract will contain all details of the agreement.

Interested parties should contact Amanda Fronek, Highmark Stadium’s director of food and beverage, on (412) 325-7233 or at Afronek@highmarkstadium.com.

Appearance Requests

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds players, coaches, and staff will make appearances at community and corporate events. The Riverhounds are dedicated to reaching as many fans as possible, however availability can be limited due to training, travel, and games.

We currently receive a multitude of requests per week for a wide range of deserving organizations within the greater Pittsburgh area. While we would like to respond positively to each inquiry, the number of requests outweighs the resources that we have available. We appreciate and thank you for your understanding.

If you are interested in having a member of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds participate in your upcoming event, please review the guidelines and submit a request below.
