The Riverhounds Community Summer Camps are now under way and the first week’s camps at Montour and Monongahela were huge successes!

Camps at Avonworth, Chartiers Valley, and Jaguars United are going on now.

Campers ages 7-12 learn the fundamentals of the game from professional Riverhounds players and experienced staff.  The community summer camps are one of a kind in Western PA, with young players learning from the pros.

Each day during the four-day camp, players focus on a different technique; footwork, passing, shooting, and balance.  It is the Riverhounds mission to develop future soccer stars by teaching them the basics of the game.

The camp, which costs $130, includes training from professional and experienced soccer players, a camp t-shirt, size 4 soccer ball, and a ticket to a pre-selected Riverhounds home game.  Campers also receive a $25 discount to the 2009-2010 upcoming Winter Academy.
