Defender Nathan Salsi Named to Team of the Week

The USL announced their Week 11 honors and Riverhounds defender Nathan Salsi was named to the Second Division’s Team of the Week.  Salsi is the fourth Riverhound to receive Team of the Week honors this year, along with Justin Evans, Tenywa Bonseu, and Ed Hayden.

Salsi, the team captain and Riverhounds veteran, is a standout defenseman and led the Hounds in their 0-0 tie against Western Mass on the Road.

The 28-year-old defender has one assist for one point this season, and has played every minute, he leads the team with 900, so far this year.  Salsi also has five shots in 10 games.
