THREE HOUNDS ON TEAM OF THE WEEK
Jerome-Salsi-Hughes Tabbed In Week 16

The United Soccer Leagues announced its team of the week honors for the 16th week of the 2009 season, and three Pittsburgh Riverhounds earned positions.  Randolph Jerome blasted in two goals on penalty kicks and assisted on Nathan Salsi’s tally in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Western Mass, keeping the Hounds’ playoff hopes alive.  Salsi was also named to the list, as was defender Jeff Hughes who played a great game on Sunday and scored Pittsburgh’s only goal in stoppage time on Friday night when the Riverhounds salvaged a point in a 1-1 draw, also versus the Pioneers.

Pittsburgh will host first place Wilmington on Saturday night (August 1st) at 7:05 p.m. at Chartiers Valley Stadium.  Tickets are on sale now at www.riverhounds.com, by phone at 412-539-1191 during business hours, and will be available at the gate on game night.
