RIVERHOUNDS WIN 2-1 OVER ROCHESTER IN PRESEASON SCRIMMAGE

PITTSBURGH, March 16 - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds took on regional rivals, the Rochester Rhinos, today in a presason scrimmage at Highmark Stadium. 

The starting lineup for the Riverhounds included  Greg Blum, Brian Fekete, Andrew Marshall, Sterling Flunder, Alfonso Motagalvan, Rob Vincent, Seth C' deBaca, Matt Dallman, Joseph Ngwenya, Mike Seth, and Jhonny Arteaga. 

Jhonny Arteaga was the first to score in the 32nd minute assisted by Mike Seth, serviced by goalkeeper Greg Blum. The score remained 1-0 at the half. 

In the second half, Hunter Gilstrap replaced Greg Blum in goal.

Mike Seth was next to score for the Hounds in the 84th minute, assisted by Jhonny Arteaga. Rochester responded quickly with a goal by Minh Vu in the 86th minute. 

The Riverhounds won the scrimmage 2-1 over the Rhinos. 

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds continue their preseason at Highmark Stadium this Tuesday, March 18 against Pitt at 7:00 PM. All preseason games are open to the public.
