About Jason Kutney
Jason Kutney played 1,411 minutes in 17 games and helped lead the Riverhounds on and off the field again in 2008. He scored 3 goals on 22 shots and added two assists. He returned to the Riverhounds in 2008 not only as a player, but as part of the new ownership group leading pro soccer into the future in Pittsburgh. Kutney additionally serves as the team’s Director of Youth Soccer Development. He was with the Hounds in 2006 after spending the two previous seasons with the Charleston Battery of the United Soccer Leagues’ 1st Division. He also played for Jersey Shore of the Premier Development League in 2003. Jason brings veteran leadership to the pitch. At Duquesne University, he was a 2002-2004 COSIDA-Verizon Academic All-American, a 2003-2004 adidas All-American (Atlantic Region 1st Team) and DU’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2003-2004. Kutney graduated from Duquesne with a degree in Finance and Investment Management. He hails from Freehold, NJ and now resides in Coraopolis, PA.
