About Chris Riley

A solid defender, Chris Riley logged 1,171 minutes of playing time over 18 games in his first year in Pittsburgh in 2008. Chris attended Herkimer Community College, where he was the Regional Tournament MVP. He played in two National Championships and was the team at Herkimer before jumping to Division-I Wright State. At Wright State, Chris was second on the team in assists in 2003 and was named First Team All-Tournament at the Dayton Flyer Classic. He also was awarded the Men’s Soccer Senior Award. Riley played in the PDL for the Albany Blackwatch Highlanders in 2004. He was a member of the Charleston Battery of the USL’s First Division in 2005, played for the Wilmington Hammerheads in 2006 and the Western Mass Pioneers in 2007 before joining the Hounds last season. Riley studied Physical Education in college and enjoys working out, music, and dancing in his spare time. He also likes watching his favorite professional club, Manchester United.
