About Sean Bucknor

Sean Bucknor was born in Brooklyn, NY but spent most of his life in Jamaica.  Bucknor played with the Jamaica U-17 national team.  The 25-year-old attended Owens Community College in Findlay, Ohio, where he scored 28 goals in each his freshman and sophomore years (2006, 2007), setting the school’s all-time scoring record. He transferred to the University of Tampa in 2008 but did not play.  Bucknor, was signed by FC Dallas this January before joining the Riverhounds, where he signed a contract on April 24th.  Bucknor has great size, strength, and speed and should bring those qualities to the Hounds’ front line.
