Riverhounds Summer Community Camps Mission

As the Riverhounds move into 2010, we are looking to push forward with the quality of Youth Programs that we offer in the Community. It is an intention of ours as the local professional organization to reach out to all the local areas within the region and offer our professional knowledge to the youngsters who enjoy playing the game of soccer. In a year and a half, we have completely changed the Youth structure of the club by offering technical training Academies, coupled with a growing Summer Community Camp program.

By travelling out to the local associations for a week in the summer, we look to offer a camp that trains the players the fundamentals of the game in a fun, yet professional environment. Such camps allow the children of the Western PA area exposure to professional players - something that is not offered that often!

We believe that the future of the game is with the kids, and we will do everything as an organization to provide the players with a basis to fulfill their soccer ambitions...most of all by having fun!
