Bio:
Nikola was a top defender for the Springfield Demize in the USL Premier Developmental League. Nikola came to the United States from Croatia to attend Western Illinois University, where he majored in marketing and was a two year starter and Captain. He played for the Chicago Fire PDL team in 2007. In 2006, he was honored as an NJCAA All American after he scored five goals and had eight assists. In 2007, Nikola was selected to the Comfort Inn & Suites All-Tournament Team at Missouri State, and was named the team’s newcomer of the year.In 2008, Nikola was named to the Country Inn Green Bay Nike Soccer Classic All Tournament team. He was also selected to the All-Summit League Second Team, named to the All-Summit league All-Tournament Team and to the NSCAA/Adidas All-Midwest Region Team.
Off the field, Nikola enjoys reading books and spending time with friends. His favorite professional team is Hajduk FC. His favorite player is Zvonimir Boban. |
