PITTSBURGH (April 13, 2017) – In honor of today being the four-year anniversary of the first-ever match played at Highmark Stadium, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds are proud to announce their “Five Seasons on the Mon” celebration.

Taking place later this month on Saturday, April 29, during the first match for the 2017 Keystone Derby Cup, presented by K&L Gates and the Pennsylvania Lottery, fans will be invited to partake in a wide variety of celebratory events running from before kickoff through the match against long-time rivals, the Harrisburg City Islanders.

Our $1 beer special will be back for the weekend, starting at a special early gates open time of 5:30 p.m. up until kickoff at 7 p.m. In addition, the first 2,000 in attendance will receive a commemorative water bottle complete with the “Five Seasons on the Mon” anniversary logo.

Inside the stadium, the beer garden will open for the first time. Located at the east end of the stadium, the beer garden will be the spot to be before and during the match, as the celebration amps up with further drink and food specials and a live DJ.

The festivities will extend to fans of all ages, as younger fans are encouraged to enjoy provided face painting, caricatures and photo booth fun.

During the match, fans can sit back and enjoy the action, as the Hounds look to recapture the Keystone Derby Cup. In-game giveaways will be present throughout as well, with prizes being announced on the scoreboard and ranging from signed player jerseys to other various specialty items.

The celebration will culminate with a halftime ceremony honoring original club members, who participated in the first-ever game at Highmark Stadium, also against the City Islanders.

Keeping with the festive spirit, the Hounds are offering a special $5 “Five Seasons” celebration ticket for any fans interested in attending the fun-filled evening. These $5 tickets will place fans right in the action alongside the Steel Army in the Paul Child Stand supporter’s section.
