BIO
Arturo Ordóñez is entering his second season with Riverhounds SC in 2023.
Ordóñez was a fixture in the Hounds lineup as a first-year pro, starting all but three matches in all competitions at center back and leading the team with 124 clearances.
Prior to turning pro, Ordóñez marshaled the back line for Pitt during his college career, and he helped lead the Panthers to the NCAA College Cup — soccer’s Final Four — for the first time ever in 2020. The Panthers nearly repeated that feat in 2021, reaching the national quarterfinals, and in total, went 39-17-4 during his career.
The Spanish defender was selected in the second round (39th overall) of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft by the Houston Dynamo but was unsigned out of camp.
