Spring Technical Training Academy – 8 Week Program
We are pleased to announce that we have opened registration for our Spring Technical Training Program. As we move through the end of the Winter program, we will once again be offering an opportunity for players to attend high level technical sessions that will take place at AHN Montour (Indoor) at Coraopolis. The program will be aimed at the following birth years and is open to any players regardless of club affiliation.
U9.10 (2014.2013) Boys and Girls
U11.12 (2012.2011) Boys and Girls
U13.14.15.16 (2010.2009.2008.2007) Boys and Girls
We will be placing the players in the following groups throughout the Spring program:
Tier 1 – (Top Tier)
Tier 2
Tier 3
The training tiers will each have around 20 players, and players can move between tiers based on training development and this will be communicated with families throughout. It’s extremely important that players are in sessions with similar ability levels to ensure the experience environment is a positive.
Returning Players from the Winter Technical Training Academy
If your child will be continuing into the Spring program for the Winter, the player will start the Spring program in the same tier that he/she completed the winter program. We will assess this at the start of the Spring program if that is the correct fit for the players. There will be no need for a returning player to purchase a training uniform as it will be the same as the Winter program.
New Players
If your child did not participate in the Winter program, we will use the first session to formally evaluate the new players and assign the appropriate training tier for week 2. All new players will be asked to purchase a training uniform and those details can be found below.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The Spring Training Academy will take place on Monday evenings starting on Monday March 27th, 2023. It will span 8 weeks ending on Monday May 15th, 2023. Our aim is to improve every player technically on the ball. The 8 week curriculum will build each week focusing on the players comfort level on the ball. (Footwork, turning, receiving, passing, finishing etc.)
The cost of the Spring Technical Training Program will be $250. Any returning RDA players from the Winter will be sent a discount code and will be granted a reduction in fee.

First Player – Full price
Second Player – $25 off
Third Player – $50 off

The session times will be the following for all of the training tiers at the respective age groups:

U11.12 (2012.2011) Boys and Girls – 7:00pm – 8:15pm
U13.14.15.16 (2010.2009.2008.2007) Boys and Girls – 8:15pm – 9:30pm

We ask you order your uniform upon sign up so we can have it ready for the start of the program. If a player is returning to the program and already has this specific uniform there is no need to purchase.
