Todd Pratzner signed a deal with Riverhounds SC for the 2018 campaign after spending his rookie season with the USL-side Rochester Rhinos.
In 2017, the defender posted 13 appearances (10 starts) in the regular season. He also started both of the Rhinos’ playoff games and finished fourth on the team with 41 clearances, including postseason matches.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Pratzner played collegiately at Xavier University from 2013-16. He amassed 71 games played (70 starts), four goals and one assist while holding down the backline during his four seasons. The center back was named to the BIG EAST Conference All-Tournament Team as a junior, in addition to anchoring a defensive unit that set school records in shutouts (11) and team goals-against average (0.84) as a sophomore.
The Lancaster, Pennsylvania native served as captain of the Philadelphia Union Academy team, as well as trained with the Philadelphia Union MLS reserves in 2012. A graduate of Hempfield High School, he was a member of the 2010 Pennsylvania AAA District State Champion team.
