BIO
Beto Ydrach is entering his second season with Riverhounds SC in 2026.
As a first-year pro, Ydrach entered the Hounds lineup instantly, starting 27 of 30 league matches in his rookie season. He also provided two of the most memorable moments of the team’s 2025 season. Ydrach’s stoppage-time header and first pro goal defeated MLS’ New York City FC in the U.S. Open Cup, and his penalty kick was the final touch on the 2025 USL Championship season, clinching the Hounds’ first league title in a shootout at FC Tulsa.
Ydrach finished his college career as a graduate transfer at the University of Akron, where he was named the Big East Conference Defender of the Year. Prior to Akron, Ydrach played in his Orlando hometown at the University of Central Florida, where he helped the Golden Knights to the Spring 2021 American Athletic Conference Tournament title.
Ydrach also brings international experience after making his debut for the Puerto Rico National Team as a 21-year-old. He has appeared in 17 matches for Puerto Rico, including qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and a 2025 friendly against a Lionel Messi-led Argentina side.
