Bradley Sample is entering his third season with Riverhounds SC in 2026.
In two years with the Hounds, Sample has established himself as one of the team’s most reliable midfield options, whether in a starting role or off the bench. He already has 68 appearances for the team, 39 of them starts, which includes starting all four matches of the team’s 2025 USL Championship Playoffs run.
As a rookie, Sample posted four assists, and his first pro goal was a Goal of the Week-winning header on Sept. 7 against Rhode Island FC.
Sample was a workhorse in the midfield for the University of Louisville, where he finished his career in 2023 second in matches played and third in minutes all-time. The Cardinals reached the NCAA Tournament four times in his career, advancing as far as the third round in 2019 with Sample as a freshman starter.
