PITTSBURGH (Feb. 11, 2026) — The 2026 season schedule for Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2 has been announced, with the new USL League Two side playing a 12-match slate in the Great Forest Division for its inaugural season.
The pre-professional team’s schedule is front-loaded with home matches, starting with the side’s debut on Sunday, May 17 at 4 p.m. against the Cleveland Force at Highmark Stadium. Hounds 2 also hosts Erie Sports Center on May 21 and Steel City FC on May 27, both 7 p.m. kickoffs on the South Shore.
The team plays three of its next four matches on the road with a June 3 home date against FC Buffalo mixed in. The home schedule concludes with matches against the Lorain County Leviathan on June 17 and Akron City FC on June 23 before wrapping up the regular season on the road at Erie on June 28 and at Akron on July 7.
Hounds 2 will be one of 158 teams competing this season in USL League Two, the largest pre-professional soccer league in the U.S. At the end of the regular season, 35 teams will qualify for the League Two Playoffs beginning in mid-July.
