PITTSBURGH (July 2, 2019) – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (5-2-7) will clash with Bethlehem Steel FC (5-8-4) at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 at Highmark Stadium. The match will be televised on Pittsburgh’s CW.
The clubs tied their first meeting this season – a 2-2 result at Talen Energy Stadium. Kevin Kerr (4th minute) and Joe Greenspan (60th minute) posted goals for Pittsburgh whereas Faris Pemi Moumbagna (21st minute) and Michee Ngalina (36th minute) recorded tallies for Steel FC.
The Hounds have strung together the longest current winning streak in the Eastern Conference. In these three games, Pittsburgh has outscored its opposition, 12-1.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem is fresh off a 3-0 victory at the Hartford Athletic. Steel FC has a 3-2-1 away record in 2019 league play.
