Sean Suber is entering his second season with Riverhounds SC in 2025.
In his first year the with Hounds, Suber established himself as an everyday player at center back, finishing the year with 32 appearances — 25 of them starts. He was second on the team with 102 clearances and also netted two goals, his first as a professional coming July 13 against Oakland.
Suber completed his first pro season in 2023 with Huntsville City FC, the MLS Next Pro affiliate of Nashville SC. He started 26 of 28 games for Huntsville, the most on the team, and also led the team with 72 clearances.
Before starting his pro career, Suber played college soccer in his hometown at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. The 49ers reached the NCAA Tournament three times during Suber’s four seasons at Charlotte, and as a senior, he returned from injury to be selected an All-American Athletic Conference player.
