BIO
Bertin Jacquesson is entering his second season with Riverhounds SC in 2025.
Jacquesson originally came to the Hounds on loan from Real Salt Lake in 2024 before signing a permanent deal before this season. He made a splash in his initial stint with the Hounds, recording five goals and two assists in eight games, including a hat trick on Oct. 5 against Miami FC.
The 16th overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, he split time between Real Salt Lake and their reserve side in MLS Next Pro, Real Monarchs. He had 13 appearances for RSL with one assist in all competitions, and another 18 for Real Monarchs, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
He returned to Pittsburgh after playing collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh, where he played three seasons and helped the Panthers twice reach the NCAA College Cup semifinals. He was the 2020-21 Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year and finished his time at Pitt with 19 goals and 23 assists.
