Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and Director of Goalkeeping Jon Busch are offering United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Diploma courses for coaches this July at the AHN Montour Sports Complex in Coraopolis.
The following courses will be offered:
• Level 1 Course — Friday, July 10, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Level 2 Course — Saturday, July 11, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sunday, July 12 (Day 2), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• National Diploma —Thursday, July 16, Friday, July 17, Saturday, July 18, Sunday, July 19 (Details to follow)
Anyone attending Level 2 will receive a game ticket to the First Team match on Saturday, July 11.
Busch, the goalkeeper coach for the Riverhounds First Team and a former MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, will lead instruction that will cover goalkeeping techniques, teaching and instructional methods, and a wide range of topics geared toward teaching the goalkeeper position.
