PITTSBURGH (October 31, 2017) – The Riverhounds Winter Technical Training Academy at Highmark Stadium is set to start on Nov. 11. Registration for the program is open for all players, regardless of affiliation.
This program offers technical training for boys and girls ages 3-15 years and includes an intense training curriculum focused upon high-level technical development by a staff of professional soccer players and academy coaches.
Prospective participants can sign up at the following link here. Additionally, the Academy is offering a sibling discount with second and third players registered receiving $25 and $50 discounts, respectively.
The sessions are designed to complement your child’s efforts with their community and/or classic division club by providing them with additional high-level instruction to improve their performance level through skill and technique.
There are no formal evaluations for the Winter Technical Training Program. The program will offer multiple training tiers at each age group with players placed according to his/her technical level. The groups will be separated by age and gender. There will be two sessions at all of the age groups. A player can sign up for either one of the sessions or both.
Parents will be able to watch training while enjoying the warmth and amenities of Highmark Stadium, including awesome dining options within the first-class pub or even elevated seating within the club-level lounge that overlooks the field.
