PITTSBURGH (Sept. 16, 2022) — Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and consumer banking app NuMoola have reached an innovative partnership agreement.
NuMoola is a family-focused app that uses real money while offering engaging financial literacy education. They strive to make financial wellness easily accessible and relatable to all by meeting family where they are when it comes to engagement — on their mobile devices.
The Pittsburgh-headquartered business was founded in 2018, and since its launch, NuMoola has helped young families of all socioeconomic backgrounds understand how their financial decisions impact their bottom line.
“NuMoola is proud to partner with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds! There are many life lessons learned from sports that can be translated to helping kids be more financially responsible. Starting kids young by teaching them about both can provide an active, healthy lifestyle and set them up for success in the future,” NuMoola Chairman & CEO James Haluszczak said.
With the partnership, NuMoola signage will be visible at the AHN Montour Health + Sports Medicine Center, scheduled to open next month in Coraopolis. NuMoola Ball Kids will take part in Riverhounds matches at Highmark Stadium, and NuMoola will host a financial literacy workshop for players in the Riverhounds Development Academy.
Additional on-site activations will be held at Hounds events, and NuMoola will have a visible digital/broadcast presence and LED signage during Riverhounds home matches.
“Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is incredibly excited to partner with NuMoola. We feel NuMoola is a perfect partnership fit, giving us the opportunity to engage with the local community and our Academy through game days at Highmark Stadium, as well as year-round programming at AHN Montour,” Riverhounds Manager of Business Development Zack Kaminski said.
The Riverhounds continue their USL Championship season on Saturday, Sept. 24, when they will host Orange County SC at 7 p.m. at Highmark Stadium. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and at the Highmark Stadium Box Office.
