PITTSBURGH (May 25, 2016) – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are welcoming back Rob Vincent on a one-match loan for their home match against the Charleston Battery on Saturday, June 4.
A current member of D.C. United, Vincent played three seasons for the Hounds tallying 28 goals in 88 matches of all competitions. His career took off last season, as he helped Pittsburgh to their first playoff berth since 2013 and led the Hounds with 18 goals, as well as notched six assists.
Vincent has made 5 MLS appearances in his first season with United, earning his first MLS start on March 12, 2016, in the team’s second match of the season. He also started United’s ScotiaBank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Queretaro F.C on March 1.
During the first two weeks of June, D.C. United observed a league wide break for the Copa Centenario tournament.
