PITTSBURGH (February 21, 2017) – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are set to host three matches this preseason at Highmark Stadium. The club announced each match will be open to the public with free admission and will be offering gameday only specials at its team store and stadium pub.
In addition to the announced specials, Pittsburgh’s match against Duquesne University, initially scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 26 at 8 a.m. at the Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex at Cool Springs, has been moved to Highmark Stadium on the same date at 1 p.m.
All three matches at Highmark Stadium are scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. – University of Akron on Saturday, Feb. 25 and University of Charleston (W.Va.) on Sunday, March 5 being the other two. Please note all match times and dates are subject to change.
Matches will include gameday only specials for all fans in attendance. The Highmark Stadium Pub will be offering a $2 draft and mixed drink special as well as finger foods. The official team store will be holding a 15-percent off sale on all merchandise, excluding new 2017 Hounds training tops and the official club scarf for this season.
Lastly, all fans in attendance will be given the opportunity to enter for a chance to win four tickets to the club’s Fourth of July tilt against the Charlotte Independence at 7 p.m. One of the best views in Pittsburgh to watch the annual city fireworks show, fans can enter to win at the West End Gate entrance.
Gates are expected to open at 11:30 a.m.
