PITTSBURGH (May 3, 2017) – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds will host Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, May 20 at Highmark Stadium.
Set to run in conjunction with their match against Louisville City FC at 7 p.m., the Riverhounds Organization is proud to honor all who serve and protect the United States of America.
The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free t-shirt adorned with the Hounds logo in camouflage, presented by Cleveland Brothers. On site throughout the night will be Operation Troop Appreciation, as well as the U.S. Army and Color Guard.
On the pitch, the club will honor all branches of the military prior to kickoff. In addition, the Hounds will wear special camouflage kits during the match that will be auctioned off via a ticket raffle at the end of the night with all proceeds donated to local charities including Wounded Warrior Project Pittsburgh and Operation Troop Appreciation.
A discounted ticket will be available for all members of the military with proof of identification. Tickets can be purchased at www.riverhounds.com, while any further questions should be directed to the Hounds Ticketing Office at 412-865-GOAL.
Gates are expected to open at 5:30 p.m., with the club’s $1 beer special running all the way up until kickoff.
