PITTSBURGH (February 28, 2020) – Six RDA players have been invited to a US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp, taking place this weekend through March 1 in Melbourne, Florida.
Brayden Davin, Daniel Moya-Gibbons and J.J. Vozar have been selected on the RDA Boys side whereas Lola Abraham, Fiona Mahan and Minah Syam have been selected on the RDA Girls side. All three boys are members of the 2007 RDA ECNL Boys team whereas the three girls are teammates on the 2005 RDA ECNL Girls team.
“We are happy that the Riverhounds Development Academy will have a large representation at the id2 camp in Florida,” Academy Director Scott Gibson said. “Each player will come back having learned from the chance to train with some of the top players in the country at their respective birth years. The boys and girls selected are fully deserved of this opportunity, and everyone at the club wishes them the best of luck.”
The US Club Soccer id2 National Identification and Development Program provides an opportunity for the country’s top youth soccer players to be identified and developed in an elite training camp with other top athletes from throughout the country, while also being scouted for possible inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs.
