BIO
Kazaiah Sterling is entering his first season with Riverhounds SC in 2024.
Sterling comes to the Hounds after spending the past two seasons with South Georgia Tormenta in USL League One, where he led the club with 30 goals in 48 matches over two seasons. He also guided Tormenta to the League One title in 2022, scoring in all three rounds of the playoffs and being named MVP of the final.
The London-area native began his career as a youth player for Leyton Orient before making the move to the academy of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. With Spurs, he made his First Team debut at Wembley Stadium in December 2017, entering as a substitute in a UEFA Champions’ League win over APOEL Nicosia.
In the subsequent seasons, Sterling spent time on loan in the English leagues with multiple clubs, including Sunderland — where he scored his first league goal — Doncaster Rovers and Southend United, before making his move to the U.S. for the 2022 season with Tormenta.
