When the Hounds last played Orlando City B on June 3, they recorded 19 shots and 9 shots on goal – both season-high totals. Despite this blistering offensive pressure, Pittsburgh could only score once, losing the match 2-1. This time around, the Hounds will look to convert a higher percentage of their scoring chances.
Hot wheels
Chevy Walsh joined Kay Banjo as the only players to score in back-to-back games after tallying a stoppage time goal last time out against Charlotte. The striker has been rather efficient with his shooting this year, tallying three shots on goal and two scores on four total shots. Walsh looks to extend his goal streak to three straight games this Saturday.

Albert Dikwa, Hadji Barry and Richie Laryea, all having seven points on the season, lead the Orlando City B attack. The trio has a combined nine tallies (three goals each) and all three are tied for the team lead in goals. Orlando will especially rely on these players, as its leading scorer, Pierre Da Silva, will miss this weekend’s game after he was issued a red card in the club’s previous match against FC Cincinnati.
In his season debut with the Hounds against Charlotte this past July 4, goalkeeper Macklin Robinson made a club season-high six saves. The North Carolina FC loanee received the start, as keepers Trey Mitchell (injury) and Keasel Broome (Barbados National Team duty) were unavailable.
In their past two games, the Hounds have had a player come off the bench and score a goal. Romeo Parkes first accomplished this against Tampa Bay on June 22 and Walsh completed this task in the aforementioned Charlotte tilt. Late-game production from fresh legs should continue to help propel Pittsburgh toward a victory.
