PITTSBURGH (March 4, 2018) – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC completed an unbeaten weekend on the road with a 2-0 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC at the Power Training Complex in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Battling windy and cold conditions similar to Friday night’s win at the University of Pittsburgh, the Hounds’ victory came thanks to tallies from Kevin Kerr and Jordan Dover in the first and second half, respectively.

Kerr opened up scoring almost immediately in the 5th minute, working himself some space at the edge of the box before putting a shot past Steel FC keeper Jake McGuire. The goal marked Kerr’s third of the preseason, placing him in a tie for the team-lead with Neco Brett.

Dover would go onto to add an insurance tally late in the waning moments of the match, beating a host of defenders, as well as McGuire for the score in the 90th minute – his first of the preseason.

Improving to 7-0 overall in exhibition play, the Hounds continue preseason action next Saturday, March 10 against another in-state rival in Penn FC. Scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. at Highmark Stadium, the match is free to attend for the public.
